2024 NHL Draft Order: Montreal Canadiens Have Two Picks in First Round
What will the Montreal Canadiens do with their two first-round picks in the first round?
The drama will be high at the 2024 NHL Draft, as it could have the most questions in a single draft that we've seen in a long time. Macklin Celebrini is all but guaranteed to be the first overall selection, but the rest of the order is undetermined.
Artyom Levshunov has been the expected Chicago Blackhawks pick since the lottery determined the order, but Ivan Demidov has been gaining steam to join Connor Bedard. If Demidov goes No. 2, the whole draft order could change. The Canadiens feel they have a great chance at either Ivan Demidov or Cayden Lindstrom, but Demidov at No.2 could leave the Habs with neither.
Let's look at the draft order heading into Friday's event and some related articles that may interest Canadiens fans at their fifth and 25th picks.
