Ryan Poehling

It was the tale of two weekends for St. Cloud State as they won both of their games this past weekend while losing both the one before. Poehling had three assists over the four matches. We suspected that this would be a better offensive year for the 2017 1st round pick, and it looks like we all were right as he’s already tied his point total from last season in 24 fewer games.

Season Total: 3 goals 10 assists

Cayden Primeau

The Northeastern goaltender faced the most amount of shots in his college career against Boston University stopping 33 or 34 shots. Consistency is looking to be the problem for Primeau lately as he’s shut the door some nights and others have goals go right through him. However, he’s still only eight games into his freshman year and has time to figure it out.

More from Prospects

Casey Staum

The Fighting Saints are going through another tough stretch having only just ended their three-game losing streak. Staum was pointless in the four games and a combined -1.

Season Total: 2 assists

Hayden Hawkey

Still the best name in hockey. The Providence senior had a career game against Merrimack stopping 40 of 41 shots in the team’s 2-1 win. It was a close call as Hawkey was forced to make two huge saves in the final seconds of the game.

Unfortunately, his next game was the complete opposite. Hawkey allowed five goals on five shots in the first period and didn’t come out to start the second.

Season Total: .907 save percentage 2.71 goals against average

Nikolas Koberstein

Koberstein has found a way to put up some offence scoring his first goal of the season against Ferris State and adding an assist against North Michigan University.

Season Total: 1 goal 3 assists

Jake Evans

It’s still amazing that this guy was a 7th round pick. Evans is continuing his NCAA domination adding a goal and three assists to his season total. The 21-year-old is no longer first in scoring, but there’s no doubt he’ll return to being at the top again.

Season Total: 5 goals 17 assists
