David Savard isn't a player anyone wants to see leave, but his value could be the most among any of the candidates. He is a right-shot defenseman who can play anywhere in the lineup and comes at a manageable $3.5 million salary cap hit. It could take the Montreal Canadiens falling farther out of the playoff race for this deal to happen, but it's worth exploring the possibilities.
