The Montreal Canadiens still have a chance to turn away from the dark side, and the boys have Jackie Redmond and Marc Dumont on to tell the listeners how.

Who’s excited for Star Wars: The Last Jedi? I am. You can draw some comparisons to the Star Wars Universe and the NHL when it comes to the Leafs and the Habs. Imagine Lou Lamoriello morphed into Darth Vader and used that persona to give some performance reviews to his players. You don’t need to imagine it, that’s how Episode 16 starts (0:00). No stone was left untouched, well, maybe for one person.

There isn’t much to be happy about for Ari and Kamal regarding their respective teams (2:10). However, the Habs fan can start getting a little more optimistic with Carey Price starting on Saturday. The same goes for the Leafs fan (he has him in fantasy).

Riding off the optimism train, Kamal thinks that the third Atlantic Division spot is within reach (10:54). The U.S. Thanksgiving mark is behind us, but there are still 59 games left to play. He also took the time to express his thanks for a healthy Price. Hopefully, he stays that way.

Nazem Kadri is the talk of the town after the incident in the penalty box with the off-ice official. He’s improved the most under Mike Babcock, but Ari stresses in his rant that discipline is an area of his game that he still needs to work on (12:13).

Finally, we get to the main event of the episode. As good it is to hear Ari and Kamal talk, this is what the listeners came for. Just kidding, the hosts are great as well. HvL was ecstatic to have Marc Dumont of The Athletic-Montreal (13:45) and Jackie Redmond of the NHL network on to discuss both teams and what the future holds for them (43:37).
