It’s a Trick or Treat type of episode as Ari Shapiro (Toronto Maple Leafs) and Kamal Rehman (Montreal Canadiens) dive into their team’s change in direction.

Habsfan vs Leafsfan – Season 2 Episode 12 (Montreal Canadiens vs Toronto Maple Leafs).

You’ve probably come across the work of Edgar Allen Poe in an English class somewhere. In the spirit of Halloween, the podcast opens with its own tragic tale (0:00). A tale of a man who works in a city where the passion and pressure is always at its peak.

On hallow’s eve the children would play – tricking and treating as hard as they may – on the streets of rue champlain and St. Luc they came – gleefully dancing with no one to blame – and so without warning came a frightful shriek – a darkened neighbourhood to frighten the meek – and inside an embattled house within – lived a devilish old grinch named Marc Bergevin

It’s weird when you compare the states of the Leafs and Habs now to a few weeks ago. Toronto was one of the top teams in the Atlantic Division, but has struggled as of late losing their last three games.

On the other hand, the Habs are on the rise winning three of four games with a surge in offence. The boys dive into this change in trajectory as well as what can be done to stop and continue it respectively (2:30).

Usually this is the part where Ari and Kamal both have their rants. However, for the first time in this season of HvL, there is something even better on deck. This week’s episode had both JD Bunkis (@JDBunkis) of Sportsnet Fan 590 (9:40), and Tony Ambrogio (@Tony_Ambrogio) of TSN (23:40) to talk both Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs.
