Macklin Celebrini will be the reward for the team winning the first overall draft selection. He was the Hobey Baker Award winner with Boston University in the 2023-24 season. Celebrini became the fourth freshman to win the award, joining Paul Kariya, Jack Eichel, and Adam Fantilli.
