The NHL made the Canadiens pay for their extra games at home in October by sending them on their first road trip in November. The Canadiens don't have a difficult schedule in November, but there are some interesting matchups.

  • November 2nd - 7:00 PM EDT @ Pittsburgh Penguins
  • November 5th - 7:00 PM EST vs. Calgary Flames
  • November 7th - 7:00 PM EST @ New Jersey Devils
  • November 9th - 7:00 PM EST @ Toronto Maple Leafs
  • November 11th - 12:30 PM EST @ Buffalo Sabres
  • November 14th - 8:00 PM EST @ Minnesota Wild
  • November 16th - 7:00 PM EST vs. Columbus Blue Jackets
  • November 18th - 7:30 PM EST vs. Edmonton Oilers
  • November 23rd - 7:00 PM EST vs. Vegas Golden Knights
  • November 26th - 7:00 PM EST vs. Utah Hockey Club
  • November 27th - 7:30 PM EST @ Columbus Blue Jackets
  • November 30th - 1:00 PM EST @ New York Rangers

The Canadiens go on the road to play the Penguins to start the month before having to return home for one game against the Flames. It's their last game at home until the 16th, as they go on a road trip through the East before finishing in Minnesota. The road trip has a special matinee Monday game against the Sabres on Remembrance Day.

The Canadiens may have a four-game road trip, but the NHL paid them back by giving them four straight at home after. It's a weird part of the schedule, as they return for two games in three nights, then have a five-night layoff before facing the Golden Knights. They'll get another two nights off before the Utah Hockey Club visits the Bell Centre for the first time in the franchise's history.

Montreal finishes the month with a road game in Columbus, and then a matinee Saturday game against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
