Mike Matheson has been a polarizing player for the Canadiens for the last two seasons. The fans find he is the easiest to pile on, but the coaching staff and players believe he is their best defenseman. The truth is likely somewhere in the middle, but that doesn't mean the Canadiens shouldn't look at sending him to a contending team as a playoff piece.
