New York Rangers
I know that Cayden Primeau isn't in a position to dethrone Igor Shesterkin or veteran Jonathan Quick, but hear me out. Primeau has been playing much better since joining the Laval Rocket, and has been good in the NHL before. Shesterkin had some injury concerns already this season and Quick hasn't been in the same form as he was last season. Quick has a 3.11 goals-against average and a .897 save percentage in 16 appearances.
The Rangers have an influx of goaltenders in their organization, and could maybe send Louis Domingue back to end the year as the tandem in Laval with Connor Hughes in his home province. Primeau would play the same role as he is right now in Hartford, but could be a better option if Quick continues to falter or Shesterkin returns to the IR.
