Josh Roy is a player that the Canadiens will have to be careful with recalling to play a fourth line role in Heineman's spot. Roy has been playing at nearly a point-per-game pace in the American Hockey League, but hasn't been good in his limited action in the NHL. He has nine points in 27 career games with the Canadiens, and won't be in a good position to produce points along with Jake Evans and Joel Armia.

Could the Canadiens recall Roy to play further up the lineup and move a player like Josh Anderson or Brendan Gallagher down to the fourth? That could be their best course of action if the offense starts to falter with the lack of depth in the lineup.
