Mortensen has been seen around the world randomly sporting either a Lafleur jersey or a Canadiens scarf. While he worked on the set of Lord Of The Rings, he revealed that for good luck, he would wear a Canadiens t-shirt under his armor.
So the next you’re watching the battle for Middle Earth, you can now smile knowing that in certain scenes, there’s a Habs t-shirt being worn. Viggo is no bandwagoner. He’s a super-fan.
