Montreal Canadiens games were wiped out this week as the team had a pair of players in Covid-19 protocol.
Joel Armia and Jesperi Kotkaniemi have been under quarantine since Monday after a positive test and this necessitated the cancellation of four Habs games.
The Habs were supposed to play the Edmonton Oilers three times last week and were originally supposed to face the Ottawa Senators tonight. All of those games had to be moved.

This resulted in the regular season actually being extended three days. The Habs last game was supposed to be on May 8th when they faced the Toronto Maple Leafs, but they will now play their last game on May 11th. This still means the team will play 25 games in the final 43 days of the regular season, a busy schedule for sure.
The four rescheduled Canadiens games will now be played as follows:
The game that was supposed to be on March 22nd against the Edmonton Oilers will now be played Tuesday, March 30th.
The game that was supposed to be played on March 24th against the Edmonton Oilers will now be played May 10th.
The game that was supposed to be played on March 26th against the Edmonton Oilers will now be played May 11th.
The game that was supposed to be played on March 28th against the Ottawa Senators will now be played April 17th.
This also necessitated a change in four other Canadiens game days as follows:
The game that was supposed to be played on March 30th against the Ottawa Senators will now be played May 5th.
The game that was supposed to be played on April 20th against the Edmonton Oilers will now be played April 21st.
The game that was supposed to be played on April 22nd against the Calgary Flames will now be played April 23rd.
The game that was supposed to be played on May 7th against the Toronto Maple Leafs will now be played May 6th.
Also, two other Canadiens games will now be played on the same day, but at a different start time:
The game that was supposed to be played on April 16th against the Calgary Flames will now be played at 6 PM EST instead of 7 PM EST.
The game that was supposed to be played on April 26th against the Calgary Flames will now be played at 6:30 PM EST instead of 10 PM EST.
