The Montreal Canadiens have had one of their most disappointing stretches, but hopefully, with the start of a new week, things start to turn in their favour.

These last two games have probably been the most emotional for Montreal Canadiens fans. There’s been a lot of anger, rants on social media, and for some painful realization of the problem at hand. Losing 5-4 to the Arizona Coyotes and 6-0 to the Toronto Maple Leafs is definitely making it difficult to remember that the Habs are still within reach of a playoff spot.

However, being within reach doesn’t mean that it will be easy to obtain. A lot of things have to change and go Montreal’s way for that to happen.

The Montreal Canadiens had a chance to do some damage during that six-game homestand but were only able to get four of a possible twelve points. It’s back on the road for them though as they will be taking on the Dallas Stars on Tuesday and the Nashville Predators on Thursday.

As much as we’d like to focus on facing Alexander Radulov for the first time since he left the team and P.K. Subban, winning those games should be a top priority instead.

It’ll be interesting to see what Claude Julien does to get the team ready for them. In the meantime, here are some reads to start your day off.
