Mom may be a great person and Dad…? Even better.

This does not mean that children should be subjected to years of ‘ toilet seat ‘ arguments or endless ‘ discussions ‘ relating to the positives and negatives of placing the toilet seat in a compromising or noncom promising situation.

These ageless and important issues are best left for radio and television personalities. Talking heads that are fed vast amounts of monies to disclose their mostly uneducated opinions of subjects that are close to their hearts yet not their brains. In other words – sports show hosts. Athletes from the past. Dogs that have had their days in the amateur or professional ranks who must find something to gnaw on now that their ‘bones ‘ have been packed neatly into scrapbooks and placed in the attic. There are two breeds of these people.

Those that are envious of either the money that professional athletes make and / or the fame that arrives with it and those that despise the above athletes so much that an opportunity to knock them heavily down to Earth with their microphones is a lifetime dream come true.

The first group live vicariously through their sports heroes and coaches. So much that they do not see reality the same way that the average Jane or Joe does as they sit on the couch viewing their team. When Jane witnesses a star defense-man come out of the bathroom with toilet paper hanging from their pants , she will laugh and think that the rearguard is human and makes mistakes like everyone else.

A member of the latter crowd will make sure that the footage of the above will be blown up so that everyone can read what type of toilet paper is hanging from the player and if the paper holds any evidence of a foreign substances. If it does not then they will venture into the ‘ common ‘ world and hunt down any person, place or thing that once saw a foreign substance placed within a fifty mile radius of the athlete’s place of birth.

The difference between these two types are also Montreal Canadien fans that either believe Martin will lead their mostly non – Francophone team into the promised Spring or into an off-season filled with question marks for the eighteenth consecutive time.
