The Montreal Canadiens have both Carey Price and David Schlemko with them on this road trip. We don’t know if they’ll play, but the team could use the boost.

Good morning Habs fans! It’s back to the road for the Montreal Canadiens who are set to play two emotional games in two nights. The first is later tonight against the Dallas Stars while the other will be tomorrow against the Nashville Predators.

With all the rumours and drama around the Habs right now, this is what they need right now (life is too short not to make a joke at times). In all seriousness, despite what these games mean, the Habs need points in any form they come.

Fans got some good news after Monday’s practice in that both Carey Price, and David Schlemko would be accompanying the team. Claude Julien told reporters that the goaltender remains day-to-day. Considering Schlemko is traveling, you have to think that he has the same status.

More from Habs News

The Wall of Lindgren (Charlie Lindgren) is already confirmed to get the start in Dallas. If Price does play, it’ll most likely be against the Predators unless something changes. As for Schlemko, we’ll have to wait for a decision there. Personally, I’d like to see the 30-year-old in the lineup if there’s a fit.

Even though he hasn’t played an NHL game in 11 months, I think he can add a level of stability on the Habs blueline that they don’t have from every player there.

That’s something for you to think about as well as these links to set your day off the right way.
