Carey Price Officially Coming Back!

According to RDS, the Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price is expected to return tonight. At 7:00 PM ET, Montreal Canadiens are hosting Ottawa Senators. Head coach Michel Therrien said the gold medalist will be in front of the Habs net.

Tonight is the fourth of five clashes between the two teams. Senators has won the first two, then the Habs came back strong and won the most recent matchup. P.K. Subban scored the winning goal in overtime to complete the comeback last time they met.  The Canadiens have 9 more points in standings than Ottawa. They are 7th in the Eastern Conference,  4 points in front of 8th place Philadelphia. At 1:30 PM ET, Philadelphia Flyers are battling with the best team of the Metropolitan division, the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Senators are 5 points behind the 2nd wild card spot and are currently fighting to stay in the playoff race. With Price’s absence since the Olympic break, the Habs started to slip down in NHL standings. That means that we are about to have an exciting game between two teams in need of points.
