Brandon Prust Will Miss 4 Weeks With Shoulder Injury

The Montreal Canadiens announced earlier today that forward Brandon Prust will miss at least four weeks with a shoulder injury. Prust has had a history with shoulder injuries missing 10 regular season games last year and playing through most of the playoffs with a lingering shoulder problem. Prust has put up 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist), 12 penalty minutes and has posted 10 shots through 8 contests this season.

MONTREAL – Montreal Canadiens winger Brandon Prust will be sidelined four weeks with a right shoulder injury.

The team made the announcement Monday via Twitter.

Prust suffered the injury in Saturday’s 2-1 loss to the Nashville Predators when he crashed hard into the boards in the third period.
