Montreal Canadiens 2013-14 Schedule Released


The 2013-14 NHL schedule has been released, and the Montreal Canadiens will begin the season on October 1st. The Canadiens begin at home, against division rival Toronto Maple Leafs.

Montreal is joined by the Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs in the new Atlantic Division.

The Canadiens longest home stretch runs from October 17th to 26th, when they host five straight games. Their longest road trip is in December, as they are on the road for six straight, from the 19th to December 2nd.

There are no games schedule between February 8th and 26th, due to the NHL taking a break for the Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

The schehule wraps up on April 12th, when the Canadiens host the New York Rangers.
