Ryan White Suspended 5 Games


The National Hockey League and its Player Safety Department announced today that Montreal Canadiens forward Ryan White has been suspended 5 games for his hit on Flyers forward Kent Huskins in there game on Monday night.

White will be without pay for the duration of this suspension. Under the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, Ryan White will also forfeit $18,581.10 according to NHL.com. The money will go to Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
