Flyers hand Canadiens 2nd Straight Loss

Just days after a 5-1 loss to the Maple Leafs, the Habs were outscored and outplayed by the Flyers which resulted in a 7-3 loss.

Even though Carey Price had another rough start, and was pulled for the 2nd straight game, that was not the only reason for the loss. The teams level of work ethic and intensityhas gone down since the night they clinched a playoff spot.

“Since we clinched the playoffs, our level of intensity, our level of concentration, our level of attention, the level of our work ethic have all fallen a great deal,” an unhappy Canadiens coach Michel Therrien said, “and we’ve seen the results of that.”

Scott Hartnell led the Flyers with a hattrick, while Claude Firoux had a goal and two assists. Ilya Bryzgalov had 25 saves for the win.
