Habs Acquire Davis Drewiske from L.A.

Around 5:30 pm EST the Montreal Canadiens acquired veteran defenseman Davis Drewiske for a 5th round draft pick , Drewiske played 20 games this year with the Kings. Drewiske had 4 points, with 1 goal and 3 assists. The 28 year old  6’1 defenseman will possibly see time on the second power-play as his lone goal this season has come from the PP. Good move by Marc Bergevin, as well sending down Nathan Beaulieu to the Hamilton Bulldogs. Drewiske brings a sense of depth to the habs defence as or if Raphael Diaz were to make a return before the playoffs. We will have to wait and see if Marc Bergevin will make another move. Go Habs Go !
