Habs place Kaberle on Waivers

The Montreal Canadiens have placed defenseman Tomas Kaberle on waivers.

The 35-year old has played only 10 games for the Habs this season, registering just 3 assists.

In the past two years, Kaberle has been with different teams, including time with the Maple Leafs and Bruins during the 2011-12 season. He was also a Carolina Hurricane for part of the 2011-12 season before being traded to Montreal, where he has been part of the Habs organization ever since.

Kaberle has definetely had a whirlwind couple of years, and he could be on the move again. I’ll keep you updated as i find out more.

It is unknown what they will do if Kaberle clears waivers.
