It’s been a quiet few days on the Habs front, but with only 2 games left, news leaked that Carey Price has a concussion and is out for the remainder of the season. According to reports from Radio Canada Sports/CBC, the goalie sustained a concussion during a practice and team doctor David Mulder announced it directly to the network. The Canadiens official Twitter feed has chimed in to say that Price is suffering from headaches and being re-evaluated on a daily basis.
This news is not good news by any stretch, and the seriousness of it should become clear over the next few days. Priceis an RFA whose contract is up this season.
